PHV sensors provide wideband frequency response, ranging from 8 mhz to 100 mhz, which enable detection fast rise time partial discharge signals from 6nanosecods. The Sensors identify PD pulses originating from monitored components and filter out other Sources of PD and electrostatic noise, such as corona and arcing.
Temperature and relative humidity readings allow calibration of the PD signal, because pd signals are affected by temperature and humidity, thus improving accuracy of information provided by PHV Sensors. Machine Learning with realtime online learning further increases accuracy of condition monitoring and diagnostics.
